Up for sale is my 1937 Chevy rat rod pick up. I have driven this truck thousands of miles and have not had one single issue. I just got back from a trip to Bowling Green which was about 400 miles round-trip and didn't even have one minor thing go wrong. This truck is a rat rod, but everything except the cab and bed are new. The truck has a 400 small block motor with around 6000 miles on it since completion. Holley double-pump carb with two in-line fuel filters. Turbo 350 transmission that is automatic and is slap shift. Oil has been changed regularly and everything has been kept up to date. The front suspension is a new straight axle from Pete and Jakes with leaf springs. It has all new suspension components all the way around. Chrome shocks up front. The rear axle is out of an 80s model Camaro Iroc and is positive-traction, gears are stock so I believe they are 3:83. The rear has chrome coil-over shocks with rear wishbone ladder bars and. The truck has disc brakes all the way around, front and back. Master cylinder is a wilwood and the front and rear each have independent reservoirs. Front grill shell is out of a 30s Model A and the headlights have high-beam and low-beam operated by a foot switch. Radiator is out of a Mustang II and has electric fan operated by a switch. Interior has chrome steering column with quick release steering wheel. Speedometer, tachometer, voltage meter, oil pressure gauge, and temperature gauge all work. All gauges light up and are Stewart Warner. The only gauge that doesn't work is the fuel gauge because the fuel cell does not have a sending unit. Fuel cell is aluminum spun 10-gallon tank. Truck has been channeled around 8 inches with all new sheetmetal flooring. The top of the cab has been painted and given a patina look intentionally. It has also been metal-flaked. Tail lights are off of a 30s-40s model Chevy and are blue-dot lenses. Brake lights and parking lights work, but truck has no turn signals. This truck has been put together the right way. This is not your average rat rod that is thrown together and labeled "rat rod" because someone didn't take the time to do it the correct way. Every piece on this truck has been thought through and put together the way it should have been. I have driven this truck out-of-state and across state numerous times and have not had to do one single thing except stop for gas. I have receipts for all the parts I have put on this truck that are brand new; ordered from Summit, Jegs, Speedway, Advance, etc. Nothing has been looked over on this truck. The truck speaks for itself. Worst part of the truck are the doors and bottom corners of cowl near the doors. Please look at the pictures. Once again, truck DOES NOT have side glass, only windshield and back glass. Truck fires up and runs each and every time you hit the key. No mechanical issues whatsoever.
