Vehicle Detail

This one-of-a-kind car was built for a young daughter by her father who passed away unexpectedly before she was old enough to actually drive it. The girl's mother is a friend of our owner and we were asked to assist with selling it. It is a 1995 Camaro Convertible that has been painted in the exact color scheme of the 1993 Camaro Indy Pace Car (which was a coupe, never a convertible). The quality of the paint job is very good, and the multi-color stripes/swirls are painted, not decals. The wheels were painted white and the center caps are new. The top is new. It is powered by a V6 (the Indy Pace Car had a V8) backed by an automatic transmission. The engine fires right up and runs well. Shifts are competent and typical for Camaros with this powertrain. We have performed a variety of services to complete and/or improve several aspects of the car. The rear brakes were completely replaced (wheel cylinders, brake shoes, brake drum hardware kit, etc), the air conditioning system was recharged (blows very cold), tires were balanced and rotated, and an alignment was done. The interior panel on the driver's door was repaired, one (or both) exterior mirrors were replaced. Being almost 20 years old, it is not a new car and we are not representing it to be perfect. Even the new paint has a few small nicks and light scratches just from being "used". The driver's seat but the padding is feeling broken down under the covering which itself is in very good condition. The air bag light is on, and we have determined that it probably had an aftermarket steering wheel at some point and is missing a couple of internal steering wheel parts needed for the air bag and horn to function properly. There is a working fog light switch but the fog lights themselves are not there. There is a crack in the top of the dashboard. This list is not intended to be all-inclusive but is representative of the overall condition. Since we are a licensed Kansas Dealer (license D1634), we are required to collect sales tax if the buyer intends to register it anywhere in the state of Kansas. If it is going outside Kansas, no sales tax gets collected by us, but the buyer will have to sign a form certifying that it did go to another state. We would be glad to assist with making arrangements for shipping or if you wanted to fly in and drive it home, we would pick you up from the Kansas City, Missouri airport which is about 25 minutes away. We would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Please look at the photos and feel free to ask any questions you may have that will assist you in your bidding.
