If you truly want a 55 Nomad to enjoy as is or build into a custom street machine, look closely at the pictures below. Located in Vernon, B.C. Canada. I bought this Nomad in 2012 from the previous owner who owned it since 1970 who purchased it from the original owner. It has lived its life in San Diego and Huntington Beach before coming to the dry Okanagan, of British Columbia. I have installed new H/D Springs in front and an additional leaf to each rear. I've also installed the new Coker Red lines and well as AR mags. Stock drum brakes are freshly rebuilt. It drives perfectly straight and stops on a dime. The paint is approx 25 years old but well kept and always garage stored. There is no rust in the floors or body mounts, inner rockers, fenders or quarters. Roof and drip rail are rust free also. Motor is a 327 that was rebuilt and mild cammed by the last owner as well as a turbo 350 tranny with shift kit. Everything works (except the heater is not plumbed but it is working) Driver side rear side window is delaminating. Much of the chrome has been replaced and all stock original stainless in pristine. Bumpers need replating or replacement. The 70's interior is rip free and clean. I do not have eyebrows but they are available for $2500 used or $5000 new on Ebay often. This is an ideal driver that you can enjoy and upgrade as you like. Shipping to the United States is hassle free and duty free. This is a California built Nomad that is ready for a new home.
