Selling at No Reserve 1979 MGB with original removable factory hardtop. This car was in dry storage for many years and was not started or driven. We have completed mechanical work as specified below. It is now very drivable. This is a very complete car that starts, stops, runs and drives excellent. Original 109.8 CID (1798 CC) engine. Original 4 speed transmission shifts excellent. This car would make a great project and will need body work and paint. Clear title VIN: GHN5UL496371G Recent work completed to make this car a wonderful driver: Brakes: new brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes and pads, calipers. Clutch: new clutch slave cylinder and rebuilt clutch slave cylinder. Misc: New spark plugs, upper, lower radiator hoses, fuel tank, thermostat. Radiator flushed, coolant replaced, oil, filters changed. Head gasket was also replaced. Upgrades: Original one barrel zenith carb and intake manifold replaced with a rebuilt 2 barrel Weber carburetor and intake manifold. This conversion makes a big performance difference and still has that vintage look. The original carburetor and intake goes with the car. Condition: Interior seats, dash, very good with no rips or tears. Door panel pads are torn on top edge by the driver and passenger windows. A replacement pad has been purchased and goes with the car. Exterior: Needs body work and paint. Car has been previously primed. Dent in hood area as shown in photos. Rust areas: Inner rocker panels well as front inner fenders. This will require patching or replacement. Sheet metal is readily available and produced new and very reasonable in price. Floors and trunk have some minor surface rust and just need a clean up as shown in photos. Electrical: Headlights work, gages work, clock work. Windshield wipers work. Blinkers and tail lights do not work. Glass: Complete with no cracks. Parts: Original frame for top is complete and good condition, original factory removable hardtop in good condition (needs weather stripping replaced), front and rear bumpers are good condition. Trim is complete and not on car as shown. All available parts shown in photos. Tires: 185 75R14 (rear) and 185 70 R14 (front) on car and are in good condition. These are oversize.
