The Hemi motor is sold Up for auction is an all original, 69 Dodge Charger RT 440 4 sp,4 barrel, complete, and numbers matching, with a Dana 60 rear end, built in St. Louis, Mo. I have a clear title, and other original owner documentation. I have 1 broadcast sheet but haven’t looked for another one, which could still be in the car. I purchased this car from the original owner who purchased brand new after returning from Vietnam. The original owner street raced the car and blew the motor. He then replaced it with a 426 Hemi (Which is complete and for sale, separately). The original motor stays with the car and is complete except for the bottom base of the air cleaner and the bell housing. The car exterior is green, with a black bumble bee stripe and a green vinyl top. Black interior. It has a factory AM 8 Track, tach and gauge, bucket seats and console. Looks like a dealer added underdash A/C. The car needs a total restoration. It has been sitting a long time, stored inside for some period and moved outside later in life. The fenders, doors, and hood are in good shape. This car was factory undercoated which probably helped save the main structure and underneath. The frame rails are solid throughout the car. The doors and hood shut nice and tight. It could probably use quarters and a trunk pan. There are a few rust spots on the floor but doesn’t look bad. It would be easier to evaluate if the car were dipped or stripped for further inspection without the undercoating. The wheels are original and the car still has a K frame for a Hemi Motor. This car is rare, decent, complete, and deserves a great restoration. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Serious inquiries only please!
