You are looking at a 1952 MG TD, I had bought this probably 10-12 years ago from a local guy who used it in parades and such. He had passed away and it sat in his garage for a few years years without running, his nephew pulled the plugs and poured kerosene in the cylinders to put it to bed but never put the plugs back in. That is how it has sat in a climate controlled warehouse since I bought it, always planned to have it restored but just have not got it done and is time for it to go. I put a new battery in it, all the lights are working, fuel pump, starter solenoid, etc. I pulled the starter and it works as well, but the engine is just to seized up that it won't even start to turn over at all. It needs to be overhauled. The body of the car is very solid, it has no rust that I can find, tires are good, the leather seats are in great shape. Convertible top is in good shape, there is a hole in the back vinyl window as pictured. The side windows all need to be recovered but the frames are all there in solid. I do have a tire boot, and convertible top boot as well, black in color. The tools and leather kit are as pictured as well as the books. I had a gentleman from California who is big in the MG club look at it a few months back and he said its the real deal, everything appears to be original, just needs some TLC.
