Up for auction is a very restorable 1968 Pontiac Firebird. I bought the car to restore but I am just a little too big to fit in it comfortably. It runs, drives & stops. Incredibly, the only rust I see is a small spot, the size of a quarter, on the passenger side front fender (see photo). The paint is fair and is chipped on the hood tach (see photo). There is a small dent behind the driver's door where the faux vents are (see photo). Incidentally, I have the chrome pieces that fit in the faux vent ribs. The interior is worn (see photos) but still functional. The engine is a V-8 and I'm not sure if it's a 350 or 400....please research if that's important to you. It has a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts fine. The clutch operates as it should. The glass is good. The engine could use a tune-up or rebuilding as it is a little sluggish. The tires are worn and the wheels appear to be original rally style. This car is a solid #4 (Haggerty scale) and is valued at $8,000. I tried my best to describe every material aspect of this car. I have a clean Washington State title in my name...you won't have any titling issues. Also, if you are licensing in Washington, it already has "collector plates" on it which means no more licensing.
