This auction is for a black on black, 1990 535i with factory 5spd, a rare and desirable car. BMW fans know this car can handle tons of power, and adding a turbo kit makes it a serious contender. I have owned this car for about 3 years, hoping to find time to build it, but have decided to let it go. This car needs odds and ends, but is totally drivable as is. The rear valance is cracked, but I am including a replacement. The exhaust needs new hangars, the windows won't roll down (they just click), and the AC does not blow cold, but I am including a brand new (and expensive) compressor. The car has almost new performance tires from Discount Tire, with the road hazard warranty, and Eibach springs that slightly lowered the car. I am giving the winning bidder a second car (a white 530i), that has everything you need to fix the 535i, even has a nice tan interior, and you can scrap it when you're done, and get back several hundred dollars. Both vehicles have clear blue Texas titles, you can drive the 535i home, but you'll need a trailer for the parts car. The 530 also has a factory CD Changer unit, and the narrow kidney grille, that I had planned to swap over. This is your chance to build a rare supercar, for very little money. I have a low reserve, just to keep from giving this baby away. Search eBay for e34 accessories like Brembo brakes, and turbo kit, to see what all is available for this machine. All of that was resolved in 2012, when I purchased the car, and I have clear Texas title in my name.** On Aug-24-14 at 16:41:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: I drove the car around today, and it still drives well, although the power steering feels like the pump belt may be slipping. There is no rust on the car, and we have uploaded more pictures as requested by several bidders. The exact mileage is 124,559, and in the front seat is a new set of plug wires that I never got around to installing.
