This is a 1978 Chevy Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car Limited Edition. It is the L-82 so it has the more powerful motor with about 220 horse power with a 4 speed manual transmission. Here is a list of parts that I have had replaced: Spark plugs, ignition cables, distribution cap and rotor, front and rear shocks, rocker cover gaskets and oil pan gasket, power steering cylinder, radio and power antenna, interior carpet front and back, carpet on the doors and kick panels, rear speakers. The car comes with a complete set of decals and a car cover. After I purchased this car and did more investigating, I found that the engine block is from 1982. Even though the numbers do not match it certainly does not affect the performance or beauty. The car runs and handles great. I have adjusted my reserve to take the loss. If you want a nice car that you can modify to your liking without lowering its value then this is the car for you.
