For Sale 1991 Honda Civic DX 1.5L 5 speed manual. 253k miles. 100% stock. Was driven till early last winter, she developed a misfire, was parked, now its been nine months and its time to go. This was my daily driver for a 60 mile commute. I bought it off an older neighbor who bought it a few years old with 88k miles, and he kept it until he sold it to me at 239k in 04/2012. I had a new motor installed by a local shop, I have the papers. I also have receipts for a new belts, starter, alternator, muffler, battery, terminals, master cylinder to get it commute ready, and I rebuilt the shift linkage with dealer parts to tighten up the shifter as well. Last year I put new pads on the front, there is also winter snow tires installed with great tread. Other than the misfire, it ran great, did everything i asked, could of driven anywhere no worries. Tracks straight, shifts smooth, not pop outs or grinds. Has minor oil leaks, but nothing major. Idles smooth not revving up and down...heat blows hot, a/c needs a charge. Radio works, cassette works (used it for aux input) speakers are not blown out. This car got me almost 40 mpg steady.Check the pictures and you will see that the panels all have good gaps, not beat up or shoddy body work like many older hondas. The paint isn't perfect, but in good shape for a car its age that lived outside at the curb. The interior is great shape, the seats are mint. The original radio works, carpet is good, has no holes. The cigarette lighter is not hooked up. The fan (heater-a/c) switch worked when I parked it, however now I noticed that now sometimes it starts blowing a few minutes after I turn it on, but sometimes its immediate like it should be. Also it needs a valve cover gasket now, and a valid inspection sticker. The low beam bulbs were taken out for my other car, I never picked up a replacement set. The misfire is in the last cylinder, all the way to the right (driver side). We don't know why, planned on getting to it, we have 2 other cars, full time jobs, and never got to this car. You can still drive the car, but with the misfire, running on three cylinders makes it under powered and out of balance, making a shake at low rpms like while at idle. One of the two small bolts at the cat vibrated loose, you can hear the leak. You can use the manual trans to you advantage to rev it a little higher to keep it smooth/in balance while driving with the misfire. The hatch light in the cargo area, the third wiper, and the rear defroster, fuel gauge all still work. I am posting two videos, and a bunch of pictures. Please feel free to ask any questions. I tried to be specific as possible, I've bought cars on eBay before and know its hard to make judgment based on pictures, please ask any questions that come to mind. I can show it weekdays in the evenings, or anytime on Sundays. In the pictures, any brown/orange you see on the undercarriage is dirt/sand, not to be confused as rust. In the video you can see my street turns to dirt/sand, there are a few miles of sand roads in my town (Actual roads with street signs and that are graded regularly...the school bus and the mailman use them, not offroading). This car had rust at the rear quarter panels, on the bottom front side (on the side closer to the door, not the rear of the car), both sides were repaired with bondo a few years back and painted with the factory correct paint in that spot, but its bondo and if your getting up close and personal you will notice.100 dollar deposit via paypal, the rest cash in hand.
