A no-reserve auction for a "Project" ** This is a 1987 BMW K100 RT. It needs work. It is a great project for the do-it-yourself person. It has 93,560 miles on the odometer. It has electrical issues. We have had it running and the engine sounds tight. No strange noises. It seems to shift correctly. Fuel-Injection seems to function correctly. This bike was on a road trip when the electrics failed. It is cosmetically rough but all there. The meter assembly has issues, like it had gotten wet. It has a Corbin touring seat, but it does have a couple small rips. The forks do not appear to be leaking. The wheels seem fine. Front tire is OK but rear tire is bad. Rear shocks have lost most of their dampening. This bike is sold as is. It is a Project. It is what it is. There are no extra parts. Bike is sold as pictured. It is located in Butte Montana and local pickup is fine or shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
