For Sale 1971 Dodge Demon Project Car needing a motivated owner to return it to the road and its original glory. Project started out strong, working from a solid foundation frame, body and engine. The 1973 Dodge 360 V8 engine was completely professionally built (‘blue printed’) with new everything and an eye toward increased horsepower and performance including the addition of 340 “X” performance heads. The engine is all assembled, painted and detailed. Doug’s ceramic coated headers. Receipts available. Engine has not been started. Fully balanced Comp Cams “Mutha Thumpr Cam” Full Arp bolt kit. Pertronix HEI Distributor Pertronix Flame Thrower coil Street Firewire ignition wires Weiand intake manifold, 4bbl spread bore Carter AFB 600 cfm carb Mopar performance valve covers Dual snorkel air cleaner Doug’s ceramic coated headers Performance radiator (requires electric fans or fan shroud to use stock fan) Everything is new or rebuilt Rebuilt 883 4 speed transmission, Luk clutch, pistol grip shifter. Very desirable. Ford 8.8 to 3.73 posi read end, narrowed on one side, new perches, Will require shock mounts of your choice. This axle will handle the uprated engine. Disk brakes for all four corners, installed on front need installed on rear, new proportioning valve, Mopar big bolt 5 x 4 ½ pattern. Body has been primed. Engine compartment shaved, smoothed and painted prior to engine re-install. Underbody and floor very solid but there are a couple of places on the driver rear floor that may need attention. The trunk floor is solid but the plan was to replace it along with trunk extensions. New trunk floor panels are included. Hood updated with period correct Dart/ Duster 3” tall twin snorkel scoop. There will be other body work needed prior to paint. Previous work was done to the rocker panels That we didn't like. New A.M.D. brand rocket panels are included. Interior new replacement door panels, carpet and head liner are included. The rest of the interior will need restoration. The plan was to paint the car seventies Slime Green with black trim, engine compartment gives you the flavor of what could be. This car comes with good bones, and lots of original, nos, new and spare parts. More has been spent on the engine and drive line than the reserve amount. It is an excellent project needs a persistent and knowledgeable buyer to complete the work. We are selling this project due to a potential job relocation. Sale is as-is where is, no warranties expressed or implied. Buyer MUST arrange for pick-up locally. This is a work in progress and there are a lot of loose parts. REPEAT…THERE ARE A LOT OF LOOSE PARTS. I am not able to crate the parts nor do I think its practical. It would be best if you came with a trailer and pickup to collect.
