Vehicle Detail

After 15 years together, it's time to part ways. She is not perfect, but is still quite a head turner. I have just run out of space and need to find her a good home who will take her to the next phase of her life. I'm trying to not sell locally as I don't want to see her bumping down the road with hydraulics, a trunk full of woofers, and 26" wheels. She is classier than that. I generally only drive her 500 miles a year and only when there is 0% chance of rain. She starts right up (new battery in 5/14), runs smoothly and does not smoke. Over the course of 15 years, I have replaced the starter, brakes, power brake booster, brake lines, master cylinder, rebuilt the tranny, all new wheel bearings, reupholstered the interior, and rebuilt the carburetor (the automatic choke has never worked or been able to made functioning). There is no visible rust with the exception of surface rust on the door hinges and the trunk. The bottom half of the rear quarters were replaced with aluminum reproductions when the body was repaired and repainted 15 years ago. All chrome and trim are intact with some minor pitting on the door handles. There is a custom U-Haul trailer hitch with extra leaf springs added for extra height. The exhaust system is intact and solid. As for the not so good...the power top is intact and does operate. It is an older top. It is loose and has a very clouded plastic rear window. A replacement is recommended for top-up driving. The driver's window and driver's side rear window do not line up perfectly rendering it not waterproof. The trunk floor is pretty much shot. I found a reproduction floor in Detroit for $200 including shipping but never took the project on. As with most cars from that era, there is a crack in the dash from the defroster outlet to the glove box. I also have an extra AM radio (the one in-dash operates fine), an extra dash panel (from a non-'vert) including all gauges and switches, several interior door handles, and window cranks that I will throw into the sale. She was professionally appraised in 10/11. I currently have her in my garage. Buyer will be responsible for transportation (at your expense) within 30 days of the sale date. If this is not feasible, I can arrange for off site, climate controlled storage for $110/month. Payment due in full within 7 days of the auction end. I have a clear Ohio title. Please contact me with additional questions or additional pics.
