Make this fun silver Jetta a daily driver again. This is a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta GLS 1.8L. I love this car. It fits everywhere and zooms off when you need it too. The low price is because it has a few problems. A Volkswagen enthusiast may be interested in this car to fix up. Here are some important points about this car: There is front right side body damage from a fender bender with signal light and bumper damage.The car's PA inspection and emissions stickers are expired and will not pass unless at least the signal light damage is fixed. This car is drivable, starts normally and drives normally but has mostly stayed parked on my Bloomfield street since my insurance expired a few weeks ago.The car was paid off years ago. There are no loans or liens against it.There are several indicator lights lit on the dashboard (see photos) that lit up after the accident, including a check engine light, transmission sensor, brake/tire sensor and door ajar sensor. A computer reset might clear these indicators.The trunk locking mechanism is broken so the trunk does not lock. This might be a simple jam to fix, I'm not sure. The trunk stays shut because it is hydraulic. The cloth headliner sags inside where the cloth tore toward the back.Aside from accident damage, body and interior are in good condition.The left rear brake-light is out but the idle tail-light illuminates.A/C blows cold (wow).Battery is new.Snow tires in adequate condition.The CARFAX report and title are clean because the car was well maintained but the accident is not indicated on these reports because it is too recent.Pittsburgh or region residents only please. The car is driveable but my insurance and the inspection/emissions are expired. You will need to pick it up.
