Your friends at Ebay.com do not know what gray market cars are. Their computer system does not recognize a 1985 Mercedes 207 D van therefor I had to list it as a 1975 model. Up for sale is my 1985 Mercedes 207 D Sprinter Van. It has a 4 cylinder, 2.4 liter, 240 diesel engine coupled to a 5-speed 711-110 gearbox with a ultra low first gear. Here are the gear ratio's : -Reverse 5,347:1 1 gear 6,157:1 also called "Granny Gear" 2 gear 3,148:1 3 gear 1,743:1 4 gear 1,278:1 5 gear 1:1 If anyone is interested in a 5-speed 711-110 gearbox, I have several available! The box van has 2 rear doors that swing open all the way against the sides of the van. Clips in the sides hold the doors securely in place when doors are opened. The box has wood panelling against the sides and roof. Dimensions of the box: L 107" W 67" H 61" Dimension between the wheel wells 50" Maximum load capacity = 1800 lbs. Odometer reads 115,000km. Van belonged to a City in Netherlands. I have driven the van at a maximum speed of 130kmh or 80mph and cruised at 110kmh or 70mph. This van starts without problem in cold weather, 20'F Van was properly imported, copy of EPA/DOT release document comes with the van.Van has a free and clear USA title in my name. Van runs, drives, brakes and shifts good. Tires are 75-80% good. Van has never been in the bodyshop. In case the new owner wants to have a sliding side-door, a seperate sliding side-door for the right side is included in this sale. This van does NOT have A/C. This not the case, I have a number of 711-113 (5-speed overdrive) gearboxes available. These gearboxes fit behind 240D OM615, 300D OM617, 300TD/SD OM617A, 280 M110 engines.
