My Austin A 40 Sports is for sale again , Due to a time waster , so I'll start all over again . The car was bought by me in 1994 down in Pennsylvania, Upon getting it home and taking the body off the frame it was too bad to repair , so the car then sat for a few years while another frame was found. A 40 devon frame was found in like new condition, ( still had some factory green paint on ) . I striped right down , then modifyed as per factory did to a very high standard , replacing all the chassis parts to a rolling frame, with New brake lines , hoses and even felt washers in hand brake linkage, but NOTHING was overhauled , just cleaned, oiled and reassembled , (to make easy to overhaul when near completion) . The body was then replaced upon the frame and then I got sick , the car has sat for about 7 years , I know that I will never be able to finish so time to go to some-one else . There are 2 or 3 of most parts to finish the car . The only parts needed are the seats and a trunk lid (I lost that last winter in a fire) and the chrome parts from the hood (bonnet). With the car are a lot of extra parts 2 engines (1 rebuilt), 3 transmissions, and hubs , brake drums , starters , generators, gaskets , and lots of spare parts which I've saved over 30 years or so , Plus a Somerset parts car if wanted , and parts books, manuals etc to complete.
