1981 DMC 12 DeLorean. Stainless steel body, Gull wing doors, complete and in nice condition. A true classic that is sure to go up in value. This legendary car was ahead of it's time, at the wrong time...financing a radical new sports car company on drug money and locating the factory in war torn Ireland during poor economic times maybe wasn't the best route to go, but it just adds to the history and rarity of this one of a kind automobile. This car is in excellent condition, it has not been reworked so there are small flaws. The body is very clean, one or 2 dime size dents. small part of the dash is loose, rear plastic bumper cover has been repainted, after market radio. comes with service manual and parts catalog. Car runs and drives well, but if you know about Deloreans, you know there where issues with getting and keeping the engine running smoothly, this DMC 12 is no different, it's a bit temperamental, probably needs a little work on the fuel system, don't know how extensive. motors in power windows probably need replacing. This car is being sold at a leading area body/restoration shop for a customer, so any repair work could be done here before it ever leaves, but the car could be jumped in and driven away as is. Flux capacitor not included, but definitely a time machine!
