Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 69XXX mile 500SEC. The car is a solid, reliable, clean driver. There is no rust on the car whatsoever. The SEC has a metallic blue exterior and a blue leather interior. The paint has a beautiful glossy finish, no serious scratches, and is in exceptional condition. There are no rips or tears on the interior leather, though as seen in the photos, a small portion of the seat stitching is coming undone. The dash has a cap on it, and updated satellite radio with new unobtrusive originally sized speakers. Everything on the car works. The sunroof slides smooth, transmission shifts perfectly without any slippage, no clunks over bumps, and the HVAC system is fully functional including the a/c which is still blowing cold. One issue I have noticed however, is the engines idle increases in speed as the car approaches operating temperature. When the car is fully warmed up it idles around 1300rpm. I have not looked into the problem but given my previous experience with other Mercedes, its likely due to a faulty idle control valve or the module that controls it. Despite this, the engine runs very smooth, cool, and drives completely normal. I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a long trip. The tires are in great condition with plenty of tread depth, all fluids have been changed within the last 10K miles (engine oil within 2500 mi). I purchased the car from the previous owner's family when he passed away. They informed me he had owned the car for a little over 10 years along with another SEC, and that he was meticulous about its maintenance and care. Unfortunately, the family did not know the whereabouts of the books or the maintenance records. I'm selling this car because I want to make room for 190e 16v, but I strongly hope this SEC will go to a good owner looking to hold onto it for many years. I prefer local pickup, however, if you decide to ship the vehicle it your sole responsibility to procure and coordinate with a shipping company. I will not provide that service myself but will however do my best to accommodate your schedule and that of the shipping company you choose. If you have any questions or would like more pictures please feel free to contact me via message. I'll promptly provide you with my phone number if you wish to speak over the phone. Thanks for looking
