Nice Corvette that was stripped repainted Victory Red a few years ago. The original color is Rally Red. The engine, transmission, and differential were totally rebuilt less than 3K miles ago. The frame was totally rebuilt and restored by a NCRS judge that restores Corvettes. The car is really an nice driving car that you can drive anywhere. The car is a low mileage vehicle that still sports the original door panels, dash pads and sun visors. The original seats were in good shape, but I replaced them with Real Leather seat covers with new foam. The top and all weather stripping is new. The bumpers are nice and it looks like they were replated at one time. Everything works including the windshield wipers, which by the way, I paid $500.00 for a concours wiper motor, the power antenna works when it wants to. I kept the car original as much as possible using NOS parts and quality reproduction parts. The engine short block is a factory counter exchange warranty engine that was replaced in 1969. It totally verifiable as it has CE clearly stamped on the VIN pad. The heads, intake, carb, distributor, and exhaust manifold are original. I could have replaced the block and forged the VIN pad like everyone else does, but I don't work that way. The car has a few tiny stress cracks and a couple of chips here and there, but it is a total work of art! The wheels are real knock offs, but are Western Wheels that were installed before me. I have owned the car for at least 6 years now. On Aug-09-14 at 18:41:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I've added pictures of the stress cracks.
