Vehicle is available for sale locally, on ebay, and on forums. • Sunroof• Heated seats• Harman Kardon premium stereo + 6 cd changer• Cruise control • On board computer• M Contour wheels The 1998 sedan is the ideal year E36 to get because it has the 3.2L engine, metal water pump impeller (common problem area on earlier models were plastic water pumps), and the sedan has superior handling to the coupe due to improved chassis rigidity. If you are looking at this auction, then you probably know that the E36 M3 was considered the best balanced vehicle at any price point, and still holds its own 16 years later. The drivetrain is bulletproof and this car is ready to go for another 200k miles. It’s never been tracked, raced, modified, or abused in any way. However, like any 16 year old car, it has some minor imperfections listed below. Many of these are minor very common E36 issues, but as an enthusiast I need to disclose all flaws: • Driver side window guide needs relubing . Common issue for the grease to get gummy and pull the window off track. • Radio display fades intermittently. It’s still viewable, just a bit dimmer. • Needs odometer light bulb replaced. Still visible, but dim.• Due for Inspection II soon. Spark plugs, air filter, oil change. I will perform this service for the buyer at an additional $200.• Minor 1” hole on driver seat has been repaired and shown in pics.• Minor dings and light scratches as highlighted in the pics. I would rate exterior at 7/10. Normal for a 16 year old vehicle. The paint is still really glossy but just a few door dings and light scratches that can be buffed out.• Airbag light needs to be reset. Common issue. Already have the reset tool on order Other than that, the car is pretty clean. Just detailed. Runs great, looks good, no leaks or fluid consumption of any kind. Notable repairs aside from routine maintenance; both o2 sensors replaced, catalytic converters replaced, all power steering hoses replaced, climate control system replaced. Summer tires have about 15k on them and are in really good condition. Warranty included and lifetime balance from Tires Plus. Comes with a stack of paperwork documenting every maintenance.
