Vehicle Detail
These were the first Buick station wagons to be built on Buick's largest chassis since the Roadmaster Estates of 1947–53. This Estate Wagons features a 'clamshell' tailgate and goes up and down with ease the rear power-operated glass slid up into the roof as the tailgate slid into a recess under the cargo floor. It operates by switches on the instrument panel or a key switch on the rear quarter panel. This wagon has 71k original miles as it spent 20 years of its life in a Barn before I bought it in 2012. I replaced all the fuel lines along with brake lines, bought 4 new tires which and planned on buying a new right fender as its needed. I bought the car off ebay for $4,500 11/12 spent $2700 for fuel, brake lines and new tires, but did not have a chance to buy the fender before I lost the gagrage space. I live in Boston and currently own 9 cars, so I must sell this wagon. I will entertain reasonable offers and have tons of photos, so contact me if you want to see more. I require a $500 deposits within 24 hours of close of auction and payment with in seven days. Certified bank check or cash only. The buyer is responsible for pick up and delievery. Update, thank you to all who have reached out to let me know about the miles, the title showed 68k when I got it a couple of years and the MA title said 68k, so naturally I wrote 70k - no harm meant, just didn't know. The car still rides beautifully, sounds great, no creaks, shakes, no annoying noise, I have a few of these big 70's cars and this one is sound. I don't know the engine, however if you want to know more details - please send me an email and I'll reply with my mechanic who manages all my cars including this one. He can provide the history to what has been done since I have had it. You can also call me - (617) 462-1792, Mark
