Up for TRUE auction today is a vintage 1976 Honda CB 550 motorcycle in good ready to ride condition! I had purchased the same bike the first year it came out back in 1974 and fell in love with the ride and the motorcycle. Fast forward 39 years and time and life have gotten in the way of getting the most of out of this super enjoyable ride! Every time I've had it out in the sun for short trips around town recently, it takes me right back to those better times and really renews my love for riding! This bike is from 1976, so there are some minor cosmetic / paint flaws but overall its in super sound condition. I've tried to highlight where the few dings / scratches are in the tank, but with this bronze / brown color, they are real hard to notice. Everything on the bike could be returned to 100% factory condition with a little additional ebay research, I just don't have the time any more as I'm thinning out the heard a bit and settling down for retirement. Note: I have replaced the front fender as I liked the single bracket look more. If this is an issue let me know as I may still have the original two bracket system. Some highlights of the bike include - Starts / runs and shifts in excellent condition - New rear tire and battery (2013) - All the electrical / blinkers / buzzers / bright lights / horn / electric start all in working ready to go condition - I've honestly never seen a seat in this condition! Very pliable and no cracks, looks almost factory new! - Gas tank is super clean inside, carbs have been cleaned, all rubber intakes look solid no cracks, I also had the carburetor synchronized....Idles like a top! - Pipes look to be in almost factory condition. Original owner claimed that two of them had been replaced but I'm not 100% certain on that. Looking at them they seem to be! No soft spots.
