I am selling my 69XXX mile 500SEC. The car is a solid, reliable, clean driver. There is no rust on the car whatsoever. The SEC has a metallic blue exterior and a blue leather interior. The interior leather is not ripped however some of the seat stitching is coming undone. The dash has a cap on it, and an updated head unit with non intrusive stock sized speakers. Everything on the car works. Sunroof slides smooth, transmission shifts perfect, no clunks over bumps, and the HVAC system is fully functional including the a/c which still blows cold. The car was repainted its original color back in 2002. The car is, and always has been garaged. One issue I have noticed however, is the engine idles at higher RPM than it should. I have not looked into the problem but given my previous experience with other older mercedes, the cause is likely due to a faulty idle control valve or the module that reads it. The tires are in great condition, all fluids have been changed within the last 10K miles (engine oil within 2500 mi).
