1947 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan (4-door). ACTUAL BARN FIND. Clear title in hand. The previous owner had this car sitting in the back of an old garage for the last 20+ years. The car is complete, with all trim (including Cadillac hubcaps). The car does not run/drive, but would be a fairly easy restoration, or has potential as a unique hot rod family cruiser. Body is pretty straight, with some minor dings. Paint is poor (see photos.) The floorboards directly inside the front and passenger side doors are not rusted through, but will probably need some attention (see photos.) In the trunk, there is rust-through in the depression where the spare tire should go. Interior will need to be re-done, but the door and window locks and mechanisms all work. Restored, this car would price at $40,000 +. It's not rare enough, however, that you would be afraid to go another direction. Lots of possibilities with this unique Caddy! I purchased the car with the intention of making it a nice cruiser, but it doesn't look like time and money are going to get together in the near future, so the car is up for sale. I have too many projects - my loss is your gain. Buyer is responsible for shipping or picking the vehicle up, but I will assist (as possible) in making the arrangements work. Non-paying buyers lose their deposit and the car will be re-listed. Reserve is set at a low $2,000.
