1971 Honda CT

NO RESERVE, YOU BID YOU BUY! This is a 1971 (as best I can tell) Japanese Domestic Model ST70 Mini-trail. It was built for the Japanese market, it is not a DAX (which were built for export). This has a completely removable front end (not just the bars). It also features a different shift pattern (3 speed auto), only one brake lever on the bars, no engine cage (Japanese models were focused on street use), center stand only, quick disconnect throttle cable, and a cool metallic Green color. The speedo is in KM/H. It also features numerous Japanese information labels. If a CT70H is "rare", then what is this? It's the only one for sale for that I know of! The good: Starts, runs, and drives. Tires are near new. Does not smoke at all. It's 98% complete and a very cool bike. Out of DMV. Very rare in US. The bad: Some amateur frame repairs (see photos), Has some electrical issues, rear lamps and speedo lights do not work, needs a wiring harness for sure, prior owner did some "electrical repairs". Small tear on seat bottom. Handwritten bill of sale only, however, is out of DMV. See photo of VIN and you can verify yourself with CA DMV.
