This 1990 Porche 911 Carrera 4 is white over burgundy 964 underwent a complete restoration approximately seven years ago, including a complete engine rebuild by Peter Potzinger (New York) with updated pistons, cylinder heads, and gaskets. The engine has about 6,000 miles. Since purchasing the the car in 2007, it has been garage kept and infrequently driven. As part of the restoration, every bolt, line, hose, and part was removed from the car and either replaced or refinished, including cadmium plating. A complete photo album detailing the restoration is available showing its progression. The car shows and drives great. Restoration included: 1) original paint, which was restored by Detailing Dynamics, 2) original D90 wheels were replaced with genuine 17” 993 cup wheels, with new lugs and locks, 3) new rear spoiler curtain, 4) new fog lights ($400), 4) new taillights and center reflector ($1,100), 5) reconditioned Targa top, which has never been folded ($2,000), 6) all wheel wells and underside of the car were cleaned and painted to factory specs, 7) new seat switches, 8) Porsche shifter knob and boot, 9) center console with double cup holder, 10) stainless steel pedals, 10) HVAC control unit, 11) interior light, 12) door release handles, 13) SS Porsche Carrera door sills, 14) clutch pedal assembly, 15) trunk carpet, 16) complete engine rebuild by Peter Potzinger, with updated pistons and cylinder heads with gaskets, 17) new engine pad, 18) new motor mounts, 19) Bilstein shocks and H&R springs, corner balanced and aligned, 20) ball joints, 21) drop links, 22) fuel lines, 23) new clutch and flywheel, 24) guide tube, 25) fork, 26) turbo steering stops were added to accommodate 17” wheels, 27) oil cooler, lines and thermostat, 28) starter, 29) power steering pump, 30) alternator, 31) fan, 32) steering boots, 33) front differential seal, 34) rotors, pagid pads, shims, sensors, SS brake lines and brake cable, 35) installed a front and rear strut brace, 36) slave cylinder hose, 37) vent kit, 38) updated AC.
