Vehicle Detail
Very clean original Corvette - great turn key driver. Rare light bronze metallic (1,440 produced) with bronze leather and solid targa roof. Has a magnaflow cat-back so it has a nice rumble. 90's style 17" rims with nearly new 255-50-17 Fuzion tires. Dash all works and the headlights operate with no issues. The body is in great shape - a few scuffs on the bumpers as would be expected on a nearly 30 year old original. The paint has a smooth finish and is detailed and garaged. There is a small split in the rear cover - pass side (see picture) and some defects along the rear, but not that noticeable at first glance. The color is different - it's not 'resale red', but looks sharp in person. I've had it to a few shows and cruises, and it always stands out. If you're looking for a great driver or starter Vette, the C4s are a bargain. You get a Tuned Port 350, OD auto, IRS, 4-wheels discs, aluminum wishbone suspension - and not to mention that great looking clamshell hood for little dollars - grab one now if you've always wanted one! This is my 4th Vette and second C4 - they are hard to beat for performance and looks. The car is titled in my name and insured (Grundy). This is NOT a project - it is ready to go right now. Please keep in mind it is a 30 year old Corvette - so there are squeaks and rattles - they all have them. When you take out the top, it quiets down and it is perfect for an evening cruise. If you've never owned a C4 - they are cramped and hard to get in and out of - so keep that in mind! Feel free to email any questions - I'm a car fanatic and will give it to you straight - no BS. This is not a good choice for a kid or a first car - just my opinion. I also don't suggest driving any old car 100's of miles, so if you plan to bid from long distance, figure in cost for shipping as well. There are lots of C4s out there - no need to travel cross country for this one - again..just being honest!! Good luck bidding!
