(See Marti Report photos) 1 0f 8223 with the Ranger XLT/Lariat Package Up for auction is this 1979 Ford Truck with matching numbers drive train. The truck came with power steering, power brakes and air conditioning (all works well/air has been converted). It has a 302/4v with 3-speed automatic transmission! Engine and transmission was rebuilt about 10 years ago (over $4800 spent on just the engine) and it only has 8500 miles since rebuild. Rebuild included: Bored .030 over Forged Flat Top Pistons Small Street Cam Aluminum 4bbl Intake Holley Carb. Aluminum Valve Covers Mallory Distributor Heads Ported and Polished Transmission Rebuilt with TCI components Rear Axle Completely Rebuilt ALL OF THE RESTORATION WAS DONE ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO. THE INTERIOR IS CUSTOM RESTORED IN A BLACK AND WHITE PATTERN. THE CARPET, SEAT COVER, HEADLINER PANEL AND DOOR PANELS LOOK BRAND NEW. THE DASH AND DASH PAD ARE IN GREAT SHAPE! It sits on a set of Goodyear Tracker Tires. The undercarriage is solid and very clean as well. Until recently, the truck had been in Alabama its whole life. The paint job is very nice and has an excellent shine [there are 2 very small (1/2 inch or less) places of rust on the passenger door bottom corners, no bad for over 10 years since restoration].
