This is an Original numbers matching motor (307 V8) and tranny Chevelle! It has 69,XXX original miles. It had not been on the road since 1991, when I rescued it last summer. Orignial AC car (all equipment is there, but it is not working). 3 speed auto column shifter. Mostly original paint. Car came with vinyl top, which I took off because it was roached, but it still has all the original trim pieces for the top and the fenders. It has the original spare tire/ rim in Chevelle blue, jack, seatbelts, AM radio, California six digit license plate, original license plate frame from Lew Williams Chevrolet in Sacramento California, etc. I pulled this Chevelle out of a storage yard in Northern California, where it was originally delivered, sold, and spent it's entire life. I got it completely tuned up, fluid changes, filters, plugs, installed electronic ignition, rebuilt the original carb, etc! It runs and drives great! The electronic ignition is the ONLY thing on the motor that is not original. I had a CPP 4 WHEEL DISC complete disc brake system installed. The vehicle was stock with four wheel drums. This CPP system is unbelievable! It stops like a brand new car! I had a new Ausley's Chevelle interior installed in the original electric blue color! It looks great with the white exterior. I even have to original built sheet that I found tucked inside the front bench cushion. The Chevelle was built in Van Nyes, CA and delivered to Chase Chevrolet in Stockton, CA. However, I believe it was actually sold by Lew Williams Chevrolet in Sacramento, CA. This is an unbelievable original car that would be a great base to start a restoration, build your dream hot rod, or just drive it the way it is. The vehicle needs cosmetic work, but drives and stops great. The paint needs to be redone, as there are dents and scratches throughout. The roof has surface rust due to the vinyl top. The floor pants and trunk and rust free and original. The vehicle has not been in any major collisions. The frame looks straight and unaltered. There is a small 2" by 2" rust spot on the rear driver side quarter panel, due to road flares sitting inside the quarter panel for many years and absorbing moisture. Why buy a vehicle that someone else has "modified" or done their way. Buy one that is a blank canvas to build your way! One that you don't have to undo others work. I have a very low reserve on this so bid to win!!!
