Vehicle Detail

For sale is a updated, well cared for, trophy winning, head turning 1986 Fiero GT. Options include pw, pl, pm, cruise, as well as the very desirable but ultra-rare T-top roof package. I have owned the car since 1998 and under my care, it has been safely tucked away and stored indoors always. Also, maintenance has always been performed timely & professionally as needed. This was my childhood dream car and I've had it so long and put so much love, money, & care in it that it will be hard to see it go. However, the reality is that I have 5 cars and I have used this one very little over the last decade+, putting easily less than 1000 miles on it during that time going to car shows, pleasure drives, and other similar events. Also, my interests have grown into my business, family, and other US sports cars and I simply can't find the time the car deserves to have. I have also ran out of room and have been paying to store it offsite, to fully insure it, and to keep vanity plates on it and anymore the cost to own and maintain far exceeds the return. I have over $18k invested into it, much of this b/w a custom Candy paint job and a 3.4 V6 motor upgrade that I had put in. This motor was done by sort of a Fiero legend, Mr. Ed Parks who ran The Fiero Factory down in Toney, Alabama at the time. Total cost was $5k including a new clutch and headers. The Candy Apple paint and custom work I had done was another $5k. More recently I put $1500+ in all new tires and wheels that have about 200 total miles on them. Finally, to get it ready I took the car up to my best friends detail and repair shop and had them go through and repair everything they could find since it has sat so much while I've owned it. They completely tuned it up & replaced all the brakes, rotors, shift cables, belts, hoses, etc totaling $1500 more to get it ready for it's next adventures. Well, thank you for your time. Please contact me with any questions or to see the car. Thanks again ~Lee
