A dispute was filed in ebay's resolution center and has now been closed. It's up again for auction with a lower reserve.... 1948 Dodge 1-1/2 Ton Flatbed. This is the rare 5 window. Fairly Solid body.. It starts and runs under it's own power, but has a head leak. It can move (or limp) around the yard or on to a trailer. Last time I had it on the road was in 2011 to haul equipment. It still has the 2011 WV state inspection sticker on it. Motor is a 300 Ford... Six (6) cylinder form the '80s. Still runs but has a water leak between the head and the block. 30.997 on the odometer which was working until recently. (within 200 miles) 4 speed transmission. Clutch was working fine when truck ran a few years ago with over 3000 pounds on hills etc without slipping. Tires are dry rotting but holding air. We Have 3 extra rims & tires. Brakes have been re-done in 04' and are still good. Cab floor boards have been replaced with steel plates welded in. Seats are Ford Escorts in decent shape. Radiator tank has obvious solder repair. Windows all work. All glass is good except the back which is cracked ...but it's a a flat piece. Both fenders have a little bondo at the corners by the doors. The worst rust is at the bottom back corner of the cab...see picture. The wooden bed need to be replaced. Electric: lights worked the last time it was driven. Vacuum pump probably needs refurbished. Truck needs work to make it road worthy or it can be a restoration project. Notice: This is clearly an AS IS auction.
