This Volkswagen is a great little car. It does start up and will run but it has a short in the wiring. I know this because the light stays on the dash even after it is turned off if the battery is not disconnected. Original color was red but now is blue. It has new running boards. It has original radio in it. No dents or dings. It is a straight shift and it shifts nicely in all gears. The wiring is not totally wired such as the headlights, turn signals, radio. I do still have the headlamps, and covers. I also have the rest of the door handle parts. The white rubber around windshield, back window, and side windows are tight and are not cracked but are discolored. There is no rust on the floor. I do know it sat in a garage for 12 years before I bought it 5 years ago and began restoring it. I had the seats reupholstered and new panels. I put new carpet in it. It has new rubber on the inside of doors and on the outside all around. Everything is pretty well new concerning accessories but not all, such as the dash or headliner. The odometer says 37,777 but is probably could be 137,770 miles because it only has 5 digit place on odometer.
