This 1977 Porsche 911S is being sold by my husband, and this is his description: A beautiful classic car, lovingly restored and cared for by a true Porsche enthusiast. It is my car, and truly has been my baby. It has 148552 miles on the odometer. Approximately 30,000 miles ago, however, I went through the entire vehicle from top to bottom, with a complete engine rebuild. The original 2.7 liter engine was upgraded to a 3.0 liter engine that was rebuilt and installed by a very high quality Porsche shop in Tampa, FL. Updates include but are not limited to: hydraulic chain tensioners, pop-up valves, turbo valve covers, stainless steel headers and exhaust, suspension and body. The car is yellow, with sunroof and black leather interior. The car has an upgraded front-end spoiler, oil cooler, whale tail, air conditioning condenser, air conditioning, front bra, Blaupunkt Am/FM MP3 stereo system, new Proxes TPT tires and struts, and sheepskin seat covers. There is no collision or body damage or any indication of rust. It starts and runs beautifully, hugs the road and drives like a dream. Mechanically I’d rate this car at least a 9 and the exterior a 7, with only minor cosmetic issues. The interior is in good condition. The car has current NC state inspection. If you have always looked longingly at older Porsches or felt your heart thump as one passed you by, now is your chance. All the work has already been done—you can’t afford to let this one pass you by! I am being as honest as possible about the condition of this car. It will make a similar Porsche lover a very great vehicle. The only reason I am selling it is because I am moving to the mountains where 4WD vehicles are required.
