I purchased this 1964 Imperial 2 dr Coupe 4 years ago from the original owner's family in Kansas. My mother had one just like it and I have many fond memories of being 16 and driven on dates by my Mom in this quiet, elegant car! Riding in an Imperial Crown Coupe is like taking your Living Room for a test drive! Please Read! Most of your questions will be answered below: This car is Perisan White with Red dash (no cracks), Red carpet, red seatbelts, Pearl white leather seats and door panels. ALL original (NOT repainted or re-chromed!) as it left the factory and in excellent condition with noted issues below! Current mileage is 55,456 confirmed actual and so noted on the title. The original Chrome is in excellent condition, the Original paint is excellent, the trunk is super clean with original spare tire. I have the Original dealer window sticker and bill of sale. A factory shop manual is included. This Imperial has its' original 413 big block Wedge engine with the original Torque-Flight push button transmission, power everything including seats, brakes, steering, windows, and Air Conditioning (Working). The original AM/FM radio and power antenna work as new. NO rust! All gauges work Correctly. The Radial tires are near new and the original factory Bias Ply tire is still in the trunk. It's never been on the ground! All door, window and trunk seals are in good soft condition (not hard and cracked). I have some, but not all, service and inspection records covering back years in addition to original registration records by the original owner. It is not a perfect car and here are the minor issues. It does not have cruise control (but could be added). There is a small seam tear in the drivers lower left, seat bottom side. The passengers seat back does not flip forward like it should. Seems to be locked (Drivers seat back works fine). The clock does not work. Minor oil leak from rear transmission seal. The rear quarter windows are a little slow to move up and down but they DO work. Looks, runs and drives GREAT! Winner of 1st place Preservation Awards, it is Located in Fredericksburg, VA. However, if you are the high bidder and PERSONALLY inspect the car within 7 days of close of auction and don't like it for ANY reason, I will cancel the sale with no negative feedback and no argument! But I WILL retain your deposit to cover the cost of re-listing. I only accept Wire Transfers as full payment for the car. NO Checks of ANY kind. The Virginia title is in my name, held by me and is lien free. A Bill of Sale will also be included. All documents and service records will be immediately turned over or mailed to the new owner upon receipt of full payment. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. However, I will be glad to coordinate and oversee loading on this end.
