1973 Mercedes Benz 280sel This is one of two 280sel's that I own.Increasing collectible, last of the hand built ones. I am a lover of these cars and will try describe as accurately as possible. I am picky so my description may seem harsh, you judge for yourself. Car sold as is. I purchased this car last year on ebay from a seller in California for $11,900, enclosed shipping $1600. The car was not in the condition that I expected, my loss your gain. So off for recent 3k in mechanical work to include replacement of sub frame mounts, all 26 high pressure fuel line replacement and full stainless steel time valve exhaust. All electronics work and ac are currently working. Car is mechanically sound. Paint redone some time ago with an average two stage paint, various chips and touch ups. Car is solid and has no structural rust, one dime size bubble on rear quarter Interior was redone with new carpets and seats, wood is complete and in average condition.
