If you want a real Café Racer, one that is lighter, faster, and a sleeper, then this bike is the real deal. Triumph doesn't make a stock twin cylinder bike that can keep up with this one, at least not on the street. This bike starts easy, runs great, sounds great and looks great. A little background: When new this Bonneville engine was 790cc. A few were experimenting with big bore engines but there were no dedicated kits available with pistons that were designed specific to this bike. Wiseco Piston, working with Bonneville Performance, developed their 904cc big bore kit using this bike as the test bike. At that time I had about 8000 miles on the bike. Later, (at about the 12000 mile mark), this bike also was used by Wiseco Piston Co. to develop the 1083cc big bore kit. So, this bike is not the culmination of hit or miss garage-built experimentation. Bonneville Performance provided most of the remaining modified parts for this bike. This is a unique motorcycle. I am retired and in the process of downsizing, hence the sale of this bike.
