OK, up for sale is a 1971 El Camino. This is a truck that has been restored about 10 years ago. It had new quarter panels installed then and repainted. The paint still looks good, but it has 10 years of age on it. There are a couple chips that have been touched up here and there. The cowl type hood was new at the time. The carpet is new. The truck is actually pretty solid. It has been stored for the past 2 years in a barn, so the engine compartment could use a good cleaning. There is no rust in the bed and the interior rear floors had SMALL patches done years ago. The engine is a later model Vortec 350 style engine. It has a fairly new Edelbrock carburetor on it. The engine runs extremely well, does not leak and does not smoke. The transmission is an overdrive automatic. There are headers and dual exhaust on it. the car was originally equipped with A/C, but it currently needs new hoses to make it operable again, or at least get it to the point to be able to see what else it may need. This car is a good driver quality car that is being used now. Car drives, stops, shifts and handles well and can be driven. Tires are in decent shape. I got this car as part of a trade deal and really have no need for it. Car comes with a clean and clear KY title. Car is sold in the AS IS condition. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I expect a $250 deposit within 24 hours of close of auction. I expect the balance to be paid within 7 days of auction close. Balance has to be paid by cash, certified funds or electronic bank wire transfer. I expect the car to be picked up with 7 days, unless other arrangements have been made.
