I am listing this 1957 Chevrolet Belair four door hardtop for my father in law (too many projects). It is a 98% complete car with a clear NC title. Engine ( Chevrolet 307) runs, the 350 transmission shifts and the brakes are new. Gas tank and gas lines have not been tested (engine runs off a small can of gas). Interior is complete with super solid seats. The chassis and hood are solid. Car needs a trunk lid, and patches on both lower fenders. Glass is foggy, and passenger door glass is broken out. As pictured, floor pan has a hole in foot well on driver side front. The other floorpans are in good shape (including the trunk). Car needs total restoration, but a nice solid car with which to begin. You are bidding on the car that is pictured. Ask questions prior to bidding. No sign of burnt wires or connectors. There is no wiper motor. The headlight switch is stuck. Through the battery, power goes to ignition switch and to the starter. We have not tested any of the lights or generator. This car was driven daily prior to being parked 25+ years ago. We found the last inspcetion certificate from the late '80s.
