This car found in old garage in Escondido, CA----had not been driven in 15+ years--lovingly resurrected, and is scheduled for repaint this fall if not sold. NEWLY SERVICED AUTOMATIC TRANS--2 door automatic (Borg Warner), adjusted, cleaned, new modulator, etc., ENGINE---196 L-head engine. VALVE JOB, new carb, fuel pressure regulator, "bottom end gone over" lots of new--total redo on ignition system. The engine / exhaust redone, has a thrush muffler on it, runs good--carb, fuel pump and disributor rebuilt too. Gets about 22 MPG normally. DOCUMENTATION-goes back a couple of owners (1990s???), orig manual, key tag, etc. Mileage appears to be true mileage-- shows 92000 miles. MAINTENANCE--The cooling system, fuel system, electrical system, and brakes have been gone over and even the wipers, radio and dome light work. WHEELS--Has full wheel covers, (not the mini caps) newer Continental 205 / 75 R 15, less than 2 yrs on the car, drives well----but original spare (5.60 x 15" nylon on original rim). ORIGINAL Everything in the car is pretty original, owner's manual and bumper jack included. INTERIOR---Seats redone 2012, re-carpeted 2012, headliner intact (may need cleaning) in good shape. The steering wheel was replacedPaint-- Paint may be original, it is faded but original color (Frost White - code 72). Roof is grey, but faded. BODY CONDITION--Car is straight with a couple of door dings. It is a decent driver now. San Diego car--not a rust bucket......To be a true show car needs a buff out or a repaint. LICENSE-Plates valid until June 2014 We just moved from San Diego, to Ventura county.= drove it this week. Mileage may be more than in this ad, because it is being driven. THANKS FOR LOOKING.
