I tore down the front of the motor and ordered a replacement set & all new cooling system components from ECS Tuning as well as the VANOS rebuild kit from Beisan Systems. $1,300 in parts. As I pulled the VANOS assembly from bank 1 I discovered a broken intake cam. All cylinders held air pressure at rest, but because of the broken cam I wouldn't put it back together without pulling the head. The bottom end was fine when the chain went...But economically it would probably be cheaper to put in a good used motor. I would replace it but I don't have the space. The interior is pristine. With the exception of the common pixels being out in the dash ($125 mail away fix) and the cupholders (the front ones work but one is broken...buy extras they are cheap and always break). The exterior is pretty good. The passenger side has paint dings on the doors and the bottom of the fender behind the front right wheel is dented. The rear bumper has a scratch on it. The front bumper is pulled off about an inch(I drove over a curb). The factory 17" wheels are not on the car (except the spare) but they come with the car. They need new tires (curb). Also included are some aftermarket 17" wheels that are on the car with decent tires...but I much prefer the factory wheels. Please let me know if you have any questions. The car must be towed.
