I'VE BEEN GETTING ALOT OF QUESTIONS ON WHETHER THIS CAR DRIVES OR NOT, IT DOES DRIVE BUT IT NEEDS FRONT BRAKES FOR THE 4 LUG AND IT NEEDS TIE ROD ASSEMBLIES, ALSO SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR MY PLAN WAS TO COMPLETELY RESTORE THE CAR OR DO A 24V SWAP, SO I HAVE NEVER DRIVEN IT FURTHER THAN AROUND THE BLOCK. This is a driving project, it's an auto but I installed the manual brake and clutch pedal, clutch master and reservoir line, also completed the 5 lug rear, I have all parts to finish the 5 lug front, all parts are 98 e36 M3, hubs, brake calipers and carriers and rotor, e30 M3 off set bushings and 98 E36 M3 front struts these are the parts to do the 5 lug swap correct and have the wheel centered and aligned properly, all that is needed is the control arms, I also have all the parts to complete the 5 speed swap a M20 getrag 5 speed box, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate and starter, I bought this car initially to swap to a manual and drive daily, then I got my hands on a 93 e36 complete driving car so I figured why not do another 24v swap, but things have changed and now I am getting rid of both cars, this is still a project and would need a few things to keep it M20 and go 5 lug but it is driveable, needs brakes now and tie rods, needs a good battery and a decent paint job the clear has faded and peeled, since this was a Arizona car it has absolutely no rust anywhere was in a minor front touch with previous owner so I threw out the aftermarket hood and purchased a used grey hood two perfect fenders would do wonders, the lower valance is straight, I still have the original which was bent in a few spots, perfect car to complete a 24v swap or bring back to its former luster, I do have all the 24v swap parts, E34 oil pan, oil pickup and dipstick tube, along with the correct mounts and radiator I also have 2 ( yes 2) e36 ZF 5 speed boxes these are the M3 and later 328 gearboxes, these parts can be thrown in for the right price, had big plans but as I mentioned things have changed, I have gone through the wiring, wired in e36 window switches much more reliable, cleaned the heater box, changed the resistor, flush the A/C which was working but had to be emptied to clean system, heater core, heater box, shampooed the carpet, the interior is missing a few tidbits but nothing that makes it look torn up, drivers seat is showing it's age it does have a tear on the lower seat but not bad at all, the car is not perfct but a great start for the right enthusiast, THE M3 WHEELS DO NOT COME WITH THE CAR THEY WERE BORROWED FOR FITMENT AND ROLLING OF THE FENDERS **** AGAIN THE M3 WHEELS ARE NOT FOR SALE **** THEY MUST BE RETURNED TO OWNER SO BUYER PLEASE HAVE WHEELS READY.... THEY ARE THOUGH 245/45/17 THEY DON'T RUB AND THE CAR HAS H&R SPRINGS INSTALLED all around.
