Vehicle Detail

Ok gang, here we have a complete 1967 Pontiac Catalina Station Wagon. This is essentially a one owner vehicle, as I bought it from the deceased owner's estate. I have the original Georgia title issued from the dealer here in Marietta, Georgia. Georgia would not transfer it to my name, so it goes with the car. It is maroon outside and in. It has a 400 2bbl with the turbo 400. It has power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, and an aftermarket AM/FM radio from back in the 80's. I don't know if the dash was cut, but most of them went in the original hole back then. The A/C is all there, and still has a bit of pressure in the system. It does not appear to have had any major accident damage, but there are a few dents along the rear quarters, one in the driver's door, and one in the back bumper that is just enough the tailgate will not drop down. There is some rust through in the bottoms of the rear quarters and some in the front pan down near the parking lights. Now for some details; I had this vehicle running in 2011, and it ran smooth and quiet, with just a bit of smoke when it first started. The trans would drop into forward and reverse, but did not drive it due to no brakes. The electrical all seemed to work, but did not check everything out. All of the glass is good, but the windshield and the back windows leak, and there have been some old repairs around the back windows. There is some mold inside now as it is outside unfortunately. All 4 tires were new in 2010, and hold air fine, but have not turned over, so may have flat spots. I had new keys made in 2010 and two sets are included. I have a number of new parts to go with it that are stored inside and still fine; tune up items, plugs, points, maybe wires, brake cylinder kits, master kit, fan clutch. I ran it off of a can when I started it, so no sour gas, but the tank needs dropped and cleaned out. There was ethanol in the carb, and the choke sticks so it will need a kit. The dash pad is good, the carpets are probably history, the headliner let go at a seam in the back. The window in the tailgate did go down in 2010 but slowly The steering wheel will need new plastic as all of these old Pontiacs do. All of the wheels and hubcaps are original and good. Engine compartment is very original and complete. Just to be clear, this vehicle is NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING AND DRIVING!! I will help you load if needed, I have a tractor and can shove it on your trailer if you do not have a winch, but it will need TOWED from the current location!! Overall I think this one would run and drive in a couple of weekends, and could be a pretty nice car restored, or flame it, slam it, put some surfboards and wheels and a cool one!! Always welcome questions and will answer as quickly as possible!! Thanks for looking and someone help this old girl find a good home!!
