For Sale: 1995 Mustang GT “Project Rewind” About the car: This Mustang was purchased last spring as a one owner car from California. The car had approximately 83,000 miles and was meticulously maintained. All service records and original window sticker are available. The car was not modified, raced, or ever in an accident. It has about 93,000 miles as of this writing. This car is 100% rust free, accident free, and never been smoked in. It is a fully optioned Mustang GT 5.0 with five speed manual, leather seats, ABS, Mach 460, factory CD player, and 17” wheels. The engine and drive-train are in fine running condition and has been getting 25-27 mpg on the highway regularly. Air-Conditioning functions well and blows cold, all power accessories work and function with exception of driver door power window, see disclosed items below. About the restoration: For duty as the Mustangs Across America 50th Anniversary drive pace car event last April, the Mustang was given a complete mechanical going over which included a number of maintenance replacements, and some mechanical upgrades listed below. Additionally the interior has been given new custom leather seats by TMI and new carpet from Auto Custom Carpets. The exterior of the Mustang has been given a vinyl graphic wrap for the event. Underneath the wrap is faded paint. If you choose to remove vinyl, you will want to have the car painted. If you keep the wrap, it is Supreme Wrap 900 film by Avery which has a 4-5 year life. The vinyl wrap does have some minor wear and tear, some imperfections and seams. It is NOT a paint job. A box of small pieces of additional vinyl is provided with sale for minor replacement sections. Otherwise, additional matching vinyl can be ordered from Avery. LED flashing lights are installed in the grille and under rear spoiler for the MAA event but can easily be removed, original ashtray is included in sale where control box resides now. There is a slight oil drip from the engine, though the rear main seal has been recently replaced. It may be the oil pan gasket but not inspected yet. Nothing major, but is disclosed. The driver side power window motor failed recently. Sale includes a brand new motor just ordered, but not yet installed. The engine runs excellent, burns no oil, gets great fuel economy but has a sometimes rough idle. It has been inspected and maintained, but no issues identified. I have owned a number of these over the years and see it as "Ford Idle", but is disclosed. Sale Terms: If you have questions or concerns, ask and address BEFORE you bid not after you buy car.
