Vehicle Detail
Engine stripped and rebuilt by previous owner clock says 183k but more like 30k. Tiny bit of rust on hood but looks like rest of panels replaced. Interior and underneath has been rust proofed and sealed, engine tub is rust free. Starts up fine, runs through the gears great and idles well. In the last six months we've changed gaskets, flushed cooling system, adjusted alignment, fixed signal switch, replaced wind shield, wipers and side mirrors - spent about $700. Further more bought the ECM and other parts for the emissions but never completed the job - parts cost around $500. Why am I selling? I'm missing a wiring harness for the EMC to get it smog checked* - I have all of the parts with the truck - emc/computer, air filter assembly but I ran out of patience looking for the harness. Find a used harness or wait for the after market one to be developed for the 82 (I heard October), or swap the engine, drive in a state that doesn't require smog or just use as an off road beast! As mentioned this will not be smogged but runs just fine as is.
