This is the Exceedingly rare MGTD Mark 2 or II. Only a little more than 1000 were produced over the MGTD production run making it one of the rarest Post War MGs. This rare car has had a good thorough restoration done years ago, yet remains in excellent condition. If you are looking for the rarest post war MG T series cars in excellent condition, This is an almost unrepeatable opportunity. The MGTD Mark II was the factory competition model available in the last few years of the production run. It consisted among other things of double SU fuel pumps, upgraded engine, larger SU Carbs, high ratio rear end, wider wheels, and the adjustable 8 shock suspension system. Very few were built and even fewer survive with their original parts, as most were ordered by customers intent on racing and many of these cars led a tough life. This car was only used sparingly in its early life, and never abused. It got a sympathetic restoration where most of its original parts were kept. This example is finished in classic British Racing Green with green interior. Cosmetically, it is still in very good condition with only light wear from use. Recently it has benifited from a mechanical referbishment by a local British car specialist that included a full brake rebuild, Carbs rebuilt, fuel system flush and more.
