This is a very hard to find 1965 AMC Rambler 2-Door Hardtop. It is a two owner car, the first owner had it for 50 years. It has a Crus-O-Matic 2-speed transmission AMC transmission and shifts property each time. I just had the drive shaft and bushings rebuilt last week. The 2 bbl carb was rebuilt about a year ago and the trans was rebuilt a little over a year ago. The bumpers have been re-chromed and look great. All the stainless and trim is where it should be. The fuel pump was changed from manual to electric. Best of all, the interior has been redone. There are new seats, carpet, headliner and door panels done in the original Rambler style with two tone black and burgandy. See photo's, the interior looks great. The apaint will need to be re-done due to knicks and scratches, some small dings and dents and a little runst over the drivers rear wheel well. There is some rust in the trunk because of a plastic liner that trapped water. It's not real bad..The car has the original R for Rambler wire wheel covers. I drive this car every day and it runs great. The original AM radio works. AMC was cometing with everyone in 1965. The side of this car looks like a Chevelle or Impala, the back like a Nova and the fronts is sort of Nova or Chevelle of the period.
