I TAKE PRIDE IN MY 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND WILL NOT MISREPRESENT A VEHICLE Previous owner performed a great deal of work on this truck including engine rebuild with Offenhauser heads and Red's headers, carburetor rebuild, new clutch,all new brakes: master cylinder, lines, shoes, new shocks, all new dual exhaust system, new tires: Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTS 255/60/154 rear, and 215/65/15 front, replaced painted bumpers with new chrome. Generator has been replaced with alternator. This is a dependable great running and driving truck that retains it's original components with just a few cool upgrades. This truck has not been customized or ruined in any way. The body is amazingly solid with no rust through. It is the perfect truck whether you wish to restore it, hot rod, resto mod, or transform into a total custom show truck, or you can simply drive it like it is and enjoy all the looks and comments that it draws wherever it goes. The paint job is not high quality though it is presentable it is kind of a "20 footer". It appears as if there is good paint a few shades darker in color under the top coat. I would guess that someone didn't spend enough time prepping for the current paint job. It is flaking in various places on the truck. The darker paint that is exposed in these areas is still shiny and smooth as if it was not properly sanded. There is also an area on the passenger front fender that appears to have been touched up with a darker shade of paint visible in photos. THIS IS NOT RUST BUBBLING OR BONDO! IT IS PAINT FLAKING. I want to emphasize again that this truck is very solid. I have tried to show this in the photos as well. The underside of the truck will have surface rust. It has not been frame-off restored. The wood in the bed looks as if it is original. I'm not sure about the seat upholstery. It shows wear on the drivers seat base. Truck has door hinge mounted mirrors now, but has two small holes in each door that indicate it had a different style in the past. Truck has wiring in place and clamp marks on steering column from a turn signal kit, however does not have turn signals now. Signal kits are available and very inexpensive. Headlights, parking lights, and tail light work. Vacuum operated windshield wiper works as does the gas gauge, speedometer and heater. I am not sure that the temperature gauge is accurate though I can assure you that the truck does not overheat or use/leak any fluids. Door locks/latches work properly and windows roll up and down easily. Parking brake works well. Again, I have tried to accurately describe the truck. You can see that it looks very good. It is definitely an above average example of a cool classic with a lot of work that others will need already done.
