This listing is for a Classic 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. It is a second owner car. It has 83,525 miles on the car. Everything on this car is original: Chrome, Engine & Interior. 1 re-paint 40+ years ago according to original owner. No rust and has an antique plate. It has new tires and valve stems. It was just recently serviced by a Volkswagen garage. It is a 4 speed manual transmission. It has been garage kept it's entire life. This car sold as is. The man I bought the car from was Tony. This was his baby. I am not a mechanic so I am listing what Tony (the original owner) listed on his hand written yellow sheet of paper with all the work he did. He was a mechanic! The Sheet is dated September 6, 2007 and it states that 1967 VW beetle with 81549 miles was when the work was done. CHASSIS...... New halogen lights and adjusted. 20,000 miles ago ---- New ball joints, shocks, and wheel alignment. 200 miles ago----New brakes, New wheel cylinders, New axle seals on the rear, New front wheel bearings-outer and inner, All drums cut, All new brake hoses, New master cylinder, New stop light switches two, New heater boxes and tubing, New bumper face bar rear, all new rubber, new bumper brackets, and grommets, Electric computer changed and original kept. POWER TRAIN..... Lube changed on rear axle, New clutch disc, New pressure plate, New thro-out bearing, New pilot bearing, New accelerator cable, Engine heads off, carbon cleaned, valves lapped, New push rod tubes and seals, Rebuilt the carburetor, New starter, All new gaskets, New plugs, points, condenser, timing adjusted, and distributor cap, New spark plug seals, New ignition wires, Gas tank removed and cleaned, Oil bath cleaned and serviced, New vacuum control unit and distributor, New muffler, New tail pipes. BODY.... New running board mats and chrome, New wiper motor, New wiper arms and blades. Tony told me all the parts replaced were VW parts not after market! At 83,269 miles I had a new rear main seal and pressure plate installed. Also changed the oil and serviced the bug. Could not stand a car that drips oil! I have a copy of the original title in Tony's name. It has the dealer name plate trim and keychain. Two sets of original keys with one set having the yellow dealer tag on it.
