Vehicle Detail

Blue 1979 Suzuki GS850G:Runs very well once warm. Freshly cleaned carbs. New Battery. Gear position indicator works, neutral and oil pressure lights work. Instrument cluster back-lighting, tail-light, and headlight work. Vacuum controlled pitcock works. Ignition Key matches tank and seat lock. Front and rear brakes work (performance could be greatly enhanced by some steel braided lines, though). Runs and charges battery. Started works. Does not leak oil. Needs a new rear tire and seat. Clean title. Blinkers do not work, seemingly the switch is bad. Horn works ridiculously well. Black 1981 Suzuki GS850N:Does not run. Brakes are dragging, so I can't try to push start it. was not made with a kickstarter, and when plugged up to a battery, the solenoid doesn't click nor does the starter make a noise. Electrics seem to work though. It has the vacuum actuated carbs though, which may be a sweet swap onto to the blue bike. I haven't been able to get the screw out of the primary case to see if the engine is locked up, but I doubt it is, considering it ran when it was parked four or five years ago. After reading a bunch about these bikes on websites like GSresources.com, I really want to keep these and make a monster of a cafe racer out of the blue bike(possibly bob the frame on the black bike and use it as a base... the frames are identical), but I just graduated college and need to get rid of these due to impending money issues. I would like to sell both bikes together. I really don't want to sell them to someone who is just going to part them out, because complete running bikes like these are getting hard to find due to "dune buggy engine" demand. So, please if youre going to strip something down get a 1990 wrecked cbr or something, not one of these... Both bikes have clean titles in hand. The buyer will need to make their own arrangements to pick up the bikes. No deposit. Payment required within 10 business days. I will also require that I am in contact with the buyer within five days of auction close to ensure the seriousness of the buyer.
