Vehicle Detail
Bought this project back in the summer of 2005 with the mind set to finish the restoration . The car has been stored in a warehouse from 2005 till 2014 car is in great shape and has had a lot of the sheet metal replaced and body panels replaced . This is a California car and was on the road up until 1993 this car was a base mach 1 mustang . The only rust on this car is on the driver side floor pan it is a small 6x6 area and will not need a complete floor pan . The car has had new trunk drop offs and outher sheet metal replaced this car was ready to go to paint when I bought it back in 2005. Since then it will have to be block and sanded before final paint. The original color of the car was white we have jammed trunk, doors and fenders to match the 1969 boss 302 coral blue paint color . The car comes with a new hood made from the ford tooling and all the body panels to rebuild the car please see photo .Also come with a vintage air after market ac unit new in box new fuel and brake lines for the car and new trim parts Car came with a 351 windsor and a fmx transmission the engine and transmission have all been rebuilt using new parts . This is not the original motor for the car but the 351 windor has a date code of 1970 the transmission is the original and the 9in rear end is correct for the car . Car does have drum breaks and rolls and brakes just fine .The interior of the car is in great shape the seats and carpet and headliner have all been redone and the door panel are in great shape as well With all of that being said this would be a EZ project to finish GREAT FATHER SON PROJECT . Please keep this 1969 mach1 mustang on the road Any questions please ask Thanks
